Picking accurate names for systems and services early on is key to developing effective communication about the project. After discussion with members of the planning group, it looks like we've settled on the following names:

DolphinOne Card: the official name for the student & employee campus identification & transaction card.

Guest Card: the official name for the card that will be available for public purchase and will provide access to key services and systems, including on-campus copying and printing. Eventually, the Guest Card may enable as point-of-sale (POS) purchase and access to Library resources.

Card Services: the name of the organization responsible for providing day-to-day service and support to the campus community for card-related issues. Currently, this organization will consist of employees from Academic & Information Technology (A&IT), Budget and Support Services and the University Cashier.
